The voting process at the NLC is terrible (at least in the regional sessions). Voting in the "real world" does not consist of waiting for everyone else to show up. Voting in the real world is electronic, provided by kiosks. A majority always shows up on Election Day because it is widely known about and does not have a two-hour session of waiting for everyone to show up and all votes to be counted. Sure, you might run into people from your same competitive event at NLC, but how can you network with other delegates, professional division members, and others that are interested in the same field as you? I suggest holding peer networking sessions at conferences focusing on specific career clusters (Management, IT, etc) and social issues (diversity, lgbtq, etc) where delegates can learn from experts in the area and... more »

What if we recognized the top 5 BAA "Fight to the Finish" states by offering them preferred seating at the NLC?
This would be piloted at the FBLA Opening General Session this year in Anaheim.
PBL needs a Public Relations event. I think it should be similar to the Analysis & Decision Making events or Integrated Marketing Campaign.
Live stream the final competition rounds. We already record them, we live stream NLC awards ceremony. Streaming is decreasing in cost (may be zero).
