An adviser submitted a suggestion for an FBLA or PBL beach towel. Yes or No?
One of the real challenges that we are facing is that local chapters are more frequently underreporting membership and underpaying dues. They wait until they determine who is going to participate in a conference, for instance, and then pay dues only for those members. One of the real issues here is that there is essentially no effective method for detecting, or enforcing, the "pay for everyone" rule ... and there... more »
Golf is a great way to raise money for the organization. Perhaps in conjunction with the NLC.
I really like our current membership recruitment video. However, the length makes it hard to put on the school announcements and other school media outlets. I was wondering if its possible to make the field of email addresses when we sign up members a mandatory field. Not only will ALL the members be informed as the President and Regional VPs send their email blast, but State Presidents could also have access to them so that ALL the members are more informed about whats happening around in the state and national level!
Give chapters (local & state) a directory of Professional Division members in the area and encourage tapping in to the network for business expertise. Allow Professional Division members to create a profile that outlines expertise, experience and types of support that member is willing to give i.e. judge competitive events, mentor students with project, financial, etc.
There are many scholarships out there for FBLA members but when I do scholarship searches on sites such as College Board, they don't even have FBLA as an option for an organization. It would be nice if FBLA could get on the list of organizations on various scholarship sites, that way members can see their options!
