Competitive Event Limits

As of now, the competitive events have a limit at NLC of one chapter, and either a team or individual event. Often times at the State Leadership Conferences, people win/qualify in several events in each group, therefore forcing them to choose one event and possibly leave a team event that would also do well. Stock Market Event

Many students play a stock market game in their HS business classes, and it is quite popular. The current stock market game would get more attention if you didn't have to pay for it and if it were an actual competitive event. Make this a competitive event, and it would probably be quite popular.

The Website Design competition currently allows teams to use a template instead of building a site from scratch. This competition was formerly named "Website Development", meaning that one must build their site from scratch. Competitive Events Handbook

The competitive events handbook was re-designed this year and its looks great. While the charts are very handy, the book is confusing to follow. Go back to a 1-page description of an event, and keep the summary chart info at the beginning. It is nice to look at one page for each event that has the complete info.
