As I was working on the Chapter Business Report, I needed to get information from many sources. Though, it was hard trying to contact the people I need to contact. Email is a hassle, the different screen names, the different domains, which email address is personal, which email is professional, and the list goes on. On the website, I fail to see a tab for community service projects, they're hidden away under some other tab, it would be nice to have a tab for that, a one stop shop for all FBLA Community service Projects.
In order to get more people involved in the BAAs, during the month of February, a score board of chapters/states is posted comparing states with the most BAA awards completed, with a weighted scale of 1 for future to 4 for america, with the national FBLA organization rewarding a small prize or recognition to the state that comes in first- tenth on the leaderboard, with state doing such for chapters.
Facebook, Twitter, etc. They are all good social networks, but the problem is, it's open to everybody, and have too much of a casual setting. Why not create a sepreate FBLA social network dedicated to networking, spreading ideas to help improve chapters, etc. Have the advisors sign up their members and give them the ability to monitor accounts. I think it would work.
